We are pleased to announce the successful launch of Medway City of Sanctuary. Thank you so much to Vince Maple and Major Haris Giannaros of the Salvation Army and so many others who participated and contributed to the evening.

We are now well on our way to forming a core group who will endeavour to make the Medway Towns a welcoming and hospitable place for those seeking refuge from war and persecution. Working with local councillors, faith groups, schools, community projects, local charities and most importantly ordinary people of good will, we will endeavour to see Medway being a welcoming place for the refugee in our midst.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 3rd November (venue tbc) where Colleen Molloy City of Sanctuary National Development Officer will be our main speaker.
